PS179 is primarily a foam compression sealant. The product is black. The foam is predominantly closed celled and is a medium hardness foam. An acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive is coated on one side, and the product has a fixed polyester backing on the other non-adhesive face. It will act as a weather seal and air/dust seal when compressed.
Its applications include:-
- Preventing electrolytic corrosion.
- Cushioning.
- Forming make or break seals.
- Gap filling.
- Cabinet door sealing.
- Inspection panel seals.
- Compression weather, air and dust seal.
