PS253 silicone sponge cord is made to exacting tolerances and has a vast range of uses and is particularly suited to sealing applications.

With excellent resistance against weathering such as ozone and UV, our cord has a low compression set typically less than 15%, and on top of that also provides a significant cost reduction as opposed to silicone rubber. This makes our product perfect for industrial sealing applications in the form of cord.

The cord can be supplied in coils, spooled, specified cut lengths or fabricated into vulcanized rings. Standard cord sizes range from 1mm to 110mm.
